Initially trained in history and digital humanities, Dillon Boss honed business skills and project management chops in the social sector. After a few small successes and half-baked innovations, he moved into leadership and decision-making roles and currently helps oversee media publishing operations for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Dillon earned an Associate of Arts degree at Snow College, a Bachelor of Arts in History at Utah Valley University, a Master of Public Administration degree through Southern Utah University, and is currently pursuing a doctorate in public administration through the University of Illinois where he researches how faith-based organizations leverage new technologies to accomplish their missions. Dillon is also a PMP-certified project manager.
In addition to his regular professional responsibilities, Dillon is actively involved in mentoring the next generation of leaders as an adjunct professor of management communication in the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University. He is also of service in the community as a minister at church, a perennial volunteer for the Utah National History Day program, and has served on a local municipal board.
In his dreams, Dillon enjoys reading history, leisurely bicycle rides, and roadtrips to beautiful destinations in the American West. In reality, most of his free time is spent together with his beautiful wife wrangling their rambunctious children — and he wouldn’t have it any other way.
